The Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles Unveiled Their Super Bowl Championship Rings They Get For Being Super Bowl Champions
ICYMI: The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the New England Patriots 41-33 to win Super Bowl 52 for their first championship since 1960. That actually happened. To reward their championship efforts, the Eagles were presented with Super Bowl rings, as that’s what happens when you win the Super Bowl.
219 diamonds. 17 green sapphires. And 1 dog mask.
A-fucking-men to that. It looks like the Eagles had themselves one hell of a well deserved evening unveiling their championship rings. The night started with the newest big swinging dick at the Cracker Factory, Mr. Lurie, entering to a standing ovation with Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down”…
…And culminated with Meek Mill inviting every Eagle on stage to do the damn thing.
Naturally all of the players and important staff members scored themselves a ring, but that wasn’t all. Merrill Reese has been calling Eagles games since the dawn of civilization and may never take his off again.
But I even saw a couple of sales people in the Eagles organization showing their customized new piece of “ice” and/or “bling” off on social media. I repeat, the freaking minions on the sales staff got a ring most likely valued at a Eric Nathan estimated mid-five figures with their name on it. I don’t know if that’s normal, but it seems like everyone involved with the franchise received personalized ring. Good for Mr. Lurie for being so loyal.
Here we have a mishmash of highlights and reactions from the Super Bowl Champs over their ring:
Great to see Dawkins in a ring. A long time coming is damn right. Also, Weapon X with the pipes!
Beautiful stuff right there, and all around, as the Philadelphia Eagles are freaking Super Bowl Champions. That will never get old. Stay hungry, my dogs.
